The Vision

Bunzl Retail Supplies distribute over 15,000 product lines to the global retail market.

From their headquarters in London to distribution centres around the world, they’re experts in end-to-end supply chain management and customer-focused consolidation – and they’re always looking to improve their service levels and achieve cost savings for customers.

But with hundreds of customers, partners and employees passing through their 300,000 sq ft warehouse in Swinton, Manchester, 24 hours a day, it was now time to improve the levels of their uninviting, 20-year-old washrooms, toilets and changing facilities – and leave staff feeling engaged, inspired, and reinvigorated.

The Solution

Using our wealth of experience, our team walked Bunzl through the entire fit-out process – from the initial site visit and scoping of the project, to creating multiple detailed 3D renders to help the client envision their new spaces, hand-picking high-quality products and finishes,

For the fit-out, we completely transformed their men’s and women’s toilet block, changing rooms and locker room: precisely installing beautiful new flooring, ceiling, entrance doors and wall finishes across each space, installing stylish sanitaryware and hard wearing trough sinks and vanities in the washrooms, and adding comfortable bench seating by the lockers.

The Result

Every inch of Bunzl’s refurbished changing rooms and locker rooms felt unrecognisable from before. Not only did our stunning new washroom areas create Instagram-worthy spaces to help staff relax and unwind, but we were finally able to give these essential spaces an elevated look, feel and build that felt like a natural extension of their premium brand.
