The brand is synonymous with sanitation and cleanliness and manufactures a wide range of personal health, personal care, and hygiene products.
With hundreds of customers, partners and employees passing through its Trafford Park office in Manchester, the company sought to carry out a transformative office washroom refurbishment project, updating the existing male, female and disabled facilities.
Washroom Fit-Out was selected as the preferred partner to dismantle and refurbish the existing washrooms. From the plumbing and flooring to the ventilation systems, sinks and mirrors, everything was to be revamped to create a more inviting environment.
Following the rip out, first-fix plumbing works then took place that involved the routing and laying of key pipework and the connecting of appliances and fixtures to the pipework.
Creating new foundations for the washrooms also required the installation of hygienic wall cladding and crisp white vinyl flooring throughout. New neutral ceiling tiles were added, while the ventilation systems were modified to improve the air quality for its users and building occupants.
Once the first-fix plumbing and structural surfaces of the washrooms had been refurbished to a much-improved standard, the second-fix plumbing phase then began. Here, new floor to ceiling height cubicles were installed, offering complete privacy to improve the experience of Procter & Gamble’s employees.
New sanitaryware was added to all areas, while the cubicle partitions were completed with a professional-looking, sleek dark wooden finish. This finish was also used for the urinal partitions, and at the base of the sinks in the newly created vanity areas, contrasting against the striking, modern, multi-user modern white washtroughs, complete with backlit mirrors.
Indeed, professional quality remained the priority in every aspect of the refurbishment, the team liaising closely with relevant tradespeople to coordinate key services in bringing Procter and Gamble’s vision to life.
Every stage of the refurbishment was meticulously planned. The Washroom Fit-Out team worked closely with the client during the concept stage, creating 3D renders and drawings to help them visualise the space and select colours and products to create a washroom scheme that suited them. Further, the client was also assisted in selecting high-quality hand dryers and taps to complement the washroom scheme.
From start to finish, Procter and Gamble was provided with a turnkey refurbishment that culminated in an exceptional final product, with all key aspects addressed to a high standard. The installation of timeless solutions that are built to last will ensure their washrooms continue to look sleek and professional for years to come.
“Washroom Fit-Out worked hand in hand with us to meet our exact specifications. We couldn’t be happier with the end result.”
